Calum Scott Rilis Lagu Berjudul Lighthouse, Kisahkan Seseorang yang Temukan Harapan dalam Kegelapan

Penyanyi asal Inggris, Calum Scott baru saja merilis lagu baru yang berjudul Lighthouse.

Lagu tersebut dirilis Calum Scott menjelang penampilannya sebagai bintang tamu dalam tur Ed Sheeran di The Sevens Stadium, Dubai pada 20 Januari 2024.

Calum Scott menulis lagu Lighthouse bersama Martin, Housley, Corey Sanders (James Arthur, The Chainsmokers), dan Jon “MAGS” Maguire.

Sementara dalam proses produksi lagu Lighthouse tersebut diproduseri oleh Nocturns alias Charlie Martin dan Joe Housley.

Dikutip dari Planet Radio, Calum Scott mengungkapkan lagu Lighthouse memiliki makna sebuah cerita tentang cahaya dalam kegelapan.

Selain itu, Lighthouse juga menggambarkan sebuah harapan manusia di bumi.

"'Lighthouse' adalah cerita tentang cahaya dalam kegelapan, harapan di cakrawala."

"Meskipun berada di kejauhan dan hampir tidak terlihat, hal ini mengingatkan akan apa yang penting dan apa yang membuatmu merasa aman," sebut Calum Scott.

Makna tersebut tertuang dalam pembuka lagu Lighthouse, menjelaskan kondisi seseorang yang dapat melihat dan merasakan rasa cinta meski tengah berada di kegelapan malam.

Lewat perasaan tersebut, seseorang yang dimaksud memiliki harapan untuk dapat menuju pada orang yang ia sayangi sebelum waktu malam habis.
