Astro Bot telah menjadi game dengan peringkat tertinggi tahun ini di Metacritic.

Bahkan, entah bagaimana game ini menjadi lebih baik dari waktu ke waktu dengan pembaruan dan level gratis.

Mengutip Forbes, Direktur Team Asobi, Nicolas Doucet mengatakan dia bersyukur atas "hak istimewa yang sangat besar" untuk menjadi game pertama yang mungkin dimainkan oleh banyak anak.

Ia bahkan memberi penghormatan kepada pesaing mereka, yakni Sony dan Nintendo dengan seri andalannya, Mario, karena telah menginspirasi mereka untuk membuat game platformer.
