• Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 mendominasi The Game Awards 2025, memenangkan sembilan kategori termasuk Game of the Year, Best Narrative, Best Game Direction, Best Art Direction, hingga Best RPG dan Best Independent Game.
• Sejumlah game lain hanya meraih satu penghargaan, seperti GTA VI (Most Anticipated Game), Battlefield 6 (Best Audio Design), Arc Raiders (Best Multiplayer), Hades II (Best Action Game), serta CS2 yang dinobatkan sebagai Best Esports Game, dengan Team Vitality dan Chovy meraih penghargaan esports terbaik.

– Ajang The Game Awards (TGA) 2025 usai digelar dan menghadirkan sejumlah pemenang dari berbagai kategori.

Penghargaan paling prestisius, yaitu Game of the Year (GOTY) dimenangkan oleh game petualangan dengan genre role playing game (RPG), yaitu Clair Obscur Expedition 33.

Game ini juga memenangkan delapan nominasi TGA 2025 lainnya, meliputi Best Art Direction, Best Game Direction, Best Narrative, Best Performance, Best Score and Music, Best Independent Game, Best RPG, dan Best Debut Game.

Selain Clair Obscur Expedition 33 yang borong sembilan piala, game lainnya hanya dapat satu piala di The Game Awards 2025.

Salah satunya adalah proyek game terbaru Rockstar Games yang ditunda terus, yaitu Grand Theft Auto VI yang dapat piala sebagai game yang paling dinanti (Most Anticipated Game).

Ada juga game peperangan (shooter) anyar dari Electronic Arts (EA), yaitu Battlefield 6 yang dapat penghargaan Best Audio Design, serta game shooter online Arc Raiders yang dapat piala Best Multiplayer.

Game lainnya mencakup Hades II yang dapat trofi Best Action Game, Hollow Knight: Silksong yang dapat Best Action/Adventure Game, Donkey Kong Bananza yang dapat Best Family Game, hingga No Man's Sky yang sabet Best Ongoing Game.

Untuk kategori e-sports, Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) dinobatkan sebagai game e-sports terbaik dan mendapatkan piala Best Esports Game di The Game Awards 2025. 

Sedangkan untuk tim e-sports terbaik (Best Esports Team) jatuh kepada Team Vitality (CS2) dan atlet e-sports terbaik adalah "Chovy" Jeong Ji-Hoon dari League of Legends (LoL).
